Conference
Lambda at Harvard Law School Presents the 5th Annual Harvard Lambda Legal Advocacy Conference (HaLLA)
“Diverse Sexualities / Disparate Laws: Sexual Minorities, the State, and International Law”
April 2 & 3, 2010 Austin Hall, Harvard Law School***
Focusing on the regulation of sexuality and the rights of sexual minorities in the context of public and private international law, this year’s conference will bring together a diverse group of lawyers, government and intergovernmental officials, jurists, scholars, and activists at the forefront of conceptualizing the law as it affects sexual minorities on an international stage. Some participants work actively on a multilateral level while others are focused on national or local issues and constituencies. The aim of the conference is to bring these varied perspectives together for a rich discussion that is both comparative and international in scope.
We invite you to learn more about the panel discussions as well as breakout sessions we have planned and to register, using the drop-down menu above. We look forward to seeing you on campus – and join us for the conference reception on Friday night!
