Craig Convissar (Co-President)

Craig is a 3L, originally from Great Neck, New York. He graduated from Brown University in 2006 with a degree in Judaic Studies which, like most degrees from Brown, involved him taking pretty much whatever classes he wanted. After college, Craig spent two years working at the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, in downtown Manhattan. Since coming to Harvard, Craig has been involved in various LGBT causes, and has taken on starring roles in the Harvard Law School Parody. A passionate and committed fan of the New York Yankees, Craig will mercifully be returning to New York this summer, where he will split his time between a biglaw firm and the ACLU’s LGBT & AIDS Project.

Diana Tomezsko (Co-President)

Diana is a 2L who grew up in the sunniest place on the planet: Philly. Planning to move to the West Coast after undergrad, she took a wrong turn and ended up in Cambridge, where two years working as a chemist turned into three more in law school.  Her interests include examining maps, exploring cities via trial and error, and writing sarcastic thank you notes.

Samuel Levine (Co-Political Chair)

Samuel hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a 2008 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.  Prior to coming to HLS, he spent a year in City Year, an AmeriCorps program, where he worked in an elementary school on Chicago’s South Side. In his free time, Sam enjoys reading, TV shows, and unscored golf.  Samuel is a 2L at HLS.

Hilary Thrasher (Co-Political Chair)

Hilary is a 2L who has lived in the metro Boston area for her entire life, except for a two-year escape across the pond after college. Between college and law school she completed a master’s degree in history, spent one year working as a librarian, and then another year at a small environmental organization. She is hoping to focus on international law and has been excited to get involved with Lambda as a 1L rep this year. Her non-law school interests include lemurs, cooking, travel, and obscure religious history.

Bobby Hodgson (Co-Political Chair)

Bobby is a 2L.  He grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, graduated in 2005 from Harvard College with a degree in Literature, and had jobs in theater and politics before entering law school.  Outside of HLS Lambda, Bobby is involved in the Tenant Advocacy Project and the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.  He’s spending his summer 2010 working at Lambda Legal in New York.

Danielle Purifoy (Co-Political Chair)

Danielle Purifoy is a 2L from Durham, North Carolina.  She graduated from Vassar College in 2006 with a degree in English and Political Science.  After Vassar, Danielle spent one year working as a service leader with City Year Louisiana and two years working as a Mayoral Fellow and Environmental Projects Coordinator for the City of New Orleans Mayor’s Office of Recovery and Development Administration.  This year, she hopes to build better partnerships between Lambda and other campus affinity groups.  Other interests include reading, creative writing, running, food, dogs, and travel.
